I have made this photoframe as a recycled project in last month with the help of my daughter, Harshi. She was very excited to do it, as it was all going on for her photo :).
I loved it the way it turned out. So I thought of sharing it's making steps briefly over my tiny blog :).
I
have used last year's desktop calendar, green color handmade paper,
mirror beads, 3-D outliner glitter and a gift wrap paper, glue,
cutter/craft knife.
I have used paper piece of calendar which is just before the thick last one cardboard paper of calendar.
I
have arranged photo at center on it and marked its outline. Then I have
cut out the marked area at a slightly smaller size so that the frame
will overlap the photo slightly.
Then
I have marked the slightly greater cut out on green handmade paper as
compared to cut out area. Then applied glue to four sides as shown in
below picture.
For
decorations, I have used left over mirrors from my painting stuff.
Harshi has helped me sticking them surrounding her photo :). Still it
was plain in look, so in order to make it more colorful, I have cut out
red old gift wrap paper and put it as a boarder below the snap. Harshi
has got more affection towards 3-D glitter outliner, she wanted to have
hands-on on it, so holding her hand, I made a boarder below it.
So how is it? Did u like it....
Tip specially for kids while making the photoframe-
Make the aperture with the craft knife before kid start making the frame.
